About

Hi.

Our parent company, Writeaway Services based in Columbia, Maryland, has two services it offers to its clients.  Writeaway.us is the website for our clients who need something re-written or written for them from scratch.  And then there’s this website, Editaway.us, which is for our clients who would like us to suggest changes that will substantially improve the quality and effectiveness of documents they’ve already written or had written for them.

The editing we do includes proofreading, but it’s much more than that.  The detailed recommendations we offer our clients give them ways to improve the flow of their documents, to make them more interesting with more compelling messaging. The whole idea is that the editing we do will make what you’ve written more likely to accomplish your objectives.

The services we provide to our clients…

The editing services we offer – which are, not incidentally, surprisingly affordable – are for businesses of all sizes, including startups, candidates running for local and national office and for non-profit organizations.

Our only major restrictions are that we don’t edit technical materials or conduct research to verify the accuracy of the content that we’re editing.

And if you’re a company considering hiring staff editors, you might want to consider the economics of spending less to engage us on an occasional basis for higher quality work than more expensive full-time staff can produce.

Oh, and why is our parent company called “Writeaway“?  It’s because most of our clients wait until the last minute to call us and then want their product “right away.”  So, now you know.

Let’s talk.

Take a look around our website.  When you’re ready, whatever your questions, all you have to do is send us an email to [email protected] or call 443-844-3160.*

*We get lots of calls.  If you get voice mail, please leave a message.  We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Fearless Leader

“Hey.”

P.S. That’s our Fearless Leader there on the left. We insisted that we show his picture. Not to worry, he’s much more intelligent than he looks.  …And yes, he wrote the caption for his picture.  It’s the word in quotes. Impressive, isn’t it?  Hard to believe he writes for a living.
